Your team
The team is made up of the
leaders, support couples and a taskforce.
The leaders
If the videos or DVDs are being used there will need
to be at least one couple to host the evenings.
If live talks are being given one or more couples
will be needed to give the talks.
Support couples
It is also advisable to have another couple
or couples around to help support the leaders
and be available to any guests who may want to
talk or pray at the end of the session. They can
help to welcome guests when they arrive and also
pray with the leaders before the evening starts.
Support couples will have done the course themselves,
be willing to share their own experience of marriage
and have a desire to help other couples.
Testimony couples
Each week a different couple is asked to speak
of their experience of the course and the difference
it has made to their relationship. Testimonies
by couples from the course at Holy Trinity Brompton
are available on a separate video or DVD as well on the
video or DVD set.
Taskforce
Depending on the size of the course people may
also be required to work on the ‘taskforce’.
The taskforce is responsible for carrying out
all the jobs such as laying out the tables and
chairs, preparing the food and serving the meal,
tea and coffee during the evening. We invite couples
who have done the course to come back and help
on the next one.
Administrator
If it is a large course you may need an administrator
to register guests and to be in charge of the
logistics and the smooth running of the evening.
